Saville AV is our go-to event specialist when it comes to arranging all our gala award ceremonies. The team produced video content for our show last year, so we knew what to expect and they certainly didn’t disappoint. We trust Sheridan and the team’s creative guidance, and year-on-year they surpass our expectation – this year’s video clips and graphics are the best yet.Karen McGarvey
The cream of Northern Irish sporting talent joined together last month for the Belfast Telegraph’s Sports Awards, which took place at the award-winning, Belfast Waterfront. Working closely with the venue’s in-house production team, Saville AV was tasked with creating exciting and engaging video content which played throughout the evening.
Welcoming over 600 guests from all walks of the sporting arena, the Belfast Waterfront was naturally the frontrunner when it came to the perfect venue for the Belfast Telegraph awards. A purpose-built conferencing venue with state-of-the-art event technology, the Waterfront scooped ‘Best Event Space’ at the 2017 Event Awards thanks to its size and flexibility. Saville AV complemented the in-house equipment with additional LED panels to enhance the impressive, creative visual content during the awards.
Saville AV produced and edited an exciting opening video, which included dramatic sporting footage courtesy of the BBC. The Saville team also created the graphics for the awards show, adding drama and anticipation leading in to the winner announcements. With a fully-equipped recording studio, based at Saville’s offices in Belfast, celebrities presenting the awards as well as the show hosts were invited to pre-record voiceovers for the nominee sound bites which were played throughout the event. In addition, the Saville team recorded the entire event, producing a highlights video which was made available following the ceremony.
The Belfast Telegraph Sports Awards is one of the most prestigious events in the Northern Irish sporting calendar, celebrating amateur and professional stars across a diverse range of disciplines. Hosted for over two decades, anyone from world class performers and household names through to talented young people and volunteers are recognised at the ceremony, which has been held at the Waterfront Hall since 2016.
We regularly work with the Belfast Telegraph and Belfast Waterfront, so we were pleased to be supporting the events’ teams once again. Working with the Belfast Telegraph on numerous shows means we understand their expectations, but also, they trust our judgment and allow us to get really creative, which we thoroughly enjoy. We’re really pleased with this year’s content, and have received some fantastic feedback so far.Sheridan Pennell
