Thank you for all of your hard work, enthusiasm and determination over the past weeks and months to create a superb event for us. Our chairman and chief executive were especially impressed and the general consensus was that it was the best event yet.Director of Corporate Communications
The stage set comprised a flown 12M x 4M truss surround screen with two edge blended Christie 20,000 lumen projectors for superior high brightness image definition. These projectors were double hung with two 14K Christies to provide back up for image continuity in the unlikely case one of the main projectors failed – a vital necessity with edge blended systems. The screen was framed by three, full length drapes either side which were lit by a large gobo and coloured up lighting.
Two full HD broadcast cameras covered all the stage action for live camera relay to the screen running multiple PiP’s (picture in picture) for video, live relay and presentation slides.
To ensure complete delegate engagement with the high profile audience, our eValu8 audience response system was put to good use with 350 keypads collecting valuable data on key issues. The results were then displayed on screen and discussed during presentations later in the day.
With a large space to cover and to ensure the audience was able to hear every word in crystal clear detail, a D&B Q series line array was installed complete with sub bass units to provide added emphasis to the video content. 12 channels of presenter radio mics were mixed FOH via a Yamaha CL1 digital console complete with digital stage boxes.
Subtle lighting effects including truss and drape lighting was provided by LED battens creating an intimate atmosphere for the conference and a subtle mood change for the evening awards.
Carillion gobo’s were used to great effect around the room and a selection of high-powered ROBE intelligent lighting provided dramatic highlight beam effects.
Our Midlands team also provided AV support for the exhibition including 23 LCD screens for exhibitors and four 80” relay screens that also acted as Twitter walls.
