Credit Controller - Head Office, York
Saville Audio Visual is a market leader in the presentation technology, data display and audio visual sectors to markets including corporate, education, government and defence. A vacancy has arisen for a Credit Controller to work out of our head office based in York.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller based in York, paying a competitive salary including life cover, cycle to work scheme plus bonus scheme.
This person will be expected to manage the essential part of the sales cycle, looking after a number of customers, ensuring payments are received on time with negligible bad debts in order to keep in line with the Groups budget.
You should be comfortable dealing with our clients and internal customers to ensure payments are received in a timely manner while maintaining a good relationship with the customers, assessing risks.
- Effective control of outstanding debts
- Manage the outstanding balances falling due and contact customers to secure payment
- Reconcile customers balances and resolve any queries
- Customer liaison for pursuit of unpaid and due invoices
- Liaising with Accounts/Sales operations for escalation of issues
- Query resolution and credit note preparation/submission
- The review of current account and taking action
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Able to demonstrate experience within Credit Control
- Computer literate with knowledge of mainstream accounting packages
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Dealing with customer queries including debit notes to ensure prompt payment
- Discussing and setting up payment plans with customers
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have excellent organisational skills
- Must be a people person and relationship builder
- Must have a positive attitude and a winning mentality

AV Technician - Gateshead

Saville is built around a network of regional offices with the company’s head office located in York.
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our successful team in Gateshead. The role will involve the set up and operation of audio visual equipment at conferences and live events. Working as part of a team, you will be expected to work under pressure whilst maintaining very high standards. You must have a good working knowledge of PA systems, lighting and projection equipment and have experience working in the conference and live events industry.
Candidates must be of smart appearance, have a mature attitude and have good interpersonal and customer service skills, and be willing to work out of hours as the job requires, which may include weekends. You must be able to work well on your own and part of a team. A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
This is a permanent position, working core hours of 38.75 hours per week between 8.00 am to 5.00 pm with additional hours paid at overtime rates.

The successful candidate must be able to work well on their own and work well in a team. A full clean driving licence is essential.
This is a permanent position, working core hours of 38.75 hours per week with additional hours paid at overtime rates.
